Community Partnerships

Catherine Beecher Elementary School has established a variety of partnerships which includes the following:
  • Sony Electronics will be providing our school with VAIO computers, projectors, DVD players and televisions.
  •  Verizon will supply our school with phones.
  • Martha Stewart will supply our school with free hot healthy lunches for the first year.No student will go without a lunch. 
  • The Lee County Sheriff's Department will be involved in educating our students on drug use with their D.A.R.E program.
  • Office Depot will provide our school with printers, scanners, copiers and fax machines.
  • Office Max will provide bookcases, filing cabinets, desks, chairs and other needed office supplies for all classrooms.
  • Our students will participate in community service which includes cleaning up state parks and beaches.The state parks and beaches the students will visit include Lakes Park, Rutenberg Community Park, Manatee Park, and Fort Myers Beach. 
  • The Octagon Wildlife and Sanctuary and Rehabilitation Center and Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium  will enhance each students learning experience with yearly field trips. 
  • Wal-mart , Target  and Suze Orman will help with the funding costs.
  • The Home Depot has donated $1,500 dollars worth of landscaping and has supplied the necessary tools and building materials needed for a safe school. They have also helped with funding for the child sized classroom bathrooms.  
  • Clorox will provide a year's supply of cleaning products.
  • Yamaha and Selmar have donated an entire classroom set of instruments as well as extra instruments for student rentals. Each instrument will have a lifetime warranty if it is damaged or lost. Yamaha and Selmar have also set up a program to help single parents and families in need. The program will donate a used instrument to the student for the duration of time that the student is enrolled with the school.
